Breaking the Political Gridlock to Address the Transportation Challenge: Lessons Learned from the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area
The Toronto city-region can no longer postpone building the kind of transit network that gives people transportation choices, eases congestion, better connects people with jobs, and enables people to travel efficiently.

Dr. Anne Golden will talk about her experience leading a panel to come up with a transit investment strategy. She will describe the political and financial context in which progress is blocked, and set out the plan that she and her panel members hope will break the gridlock.
