- Kate reported her work during the past a few weeks.
- WICS is going to hold a lunch for members.

* Report from Brittany (Kate) (treasurer)
- We have about 2400 left and can spend roughly $100/month.

* Report from Winona and Crystal (event coordinator)
- The WICS booth in SFU Open House 2008 was a big success. Lots of high school female students were attracted.
- The technical interview workshop was very helpful. Sean Corrigall gave very good suggestions for students. Many thanks to Sean!

* Report from Ming (secretary)
- Ming reported her work: helped WICS booth in SFU Open House 2008, sent out reminders and minutes, posted them on Facebook, etc.

* Report from Santi (communication coordinator)
- Santi reported the progress about the WICS website, and demonstrated the new website.

6. Grace Hopper Celebration Conference Overview
- Kate introduced the Grace Hopper Conference, shared her experience in the conference last year, and also reported the budget. Kate’s slides about the conference can be found at

- Greg suggested to provide some SFU/WICS t-shirts for the people attending the conference.
