- She also discussed t-shirt designs.
- At this point the consensus was that we should wait till next year to redesign the logo, so we can release all the promotional materials consistently. We are still talking however and look forward to seeing the t-shirt design Kerry is preparing.
- Kerry will try to get some quotes as well.
3. Report from Brittany
- Brittany discussed the budget for the upcoming WICS events.
- The actual expense for the WICS BBQ will be lower than $100, since the number of attendees downgraded.
4. Report from Winona
- Winona talked to CSSS about the Frosh Week: it will be held on September 3rd or September 4th, 12:30PM to 1:30PM.
- Winona suggested to have catering in the Frosh Week, she will discuss the budget with Brittany later.
- Winona talked about the My Student Binder project. She motioned that WICS exchanges links with the My Student Binder project. sumo seconded. Kate suggested to add a sponsor page on WICS website to put all the sponsor links.
5. Report from Santi
- Santi reported the update of WICS website.
6. Drinks Table
- It will be held on August 1st. Kate suggested to put the profit from the event to the travel bursary for WICS members. There seem to be leftover drinks ingredients from the last event. We discussed moving the price from $2.00 to $2.50. We will try to find cheaper ingredients if the leftover ingredients are not sufficient, so as to increase our profit margins.
7. Open Floor
- Winona suggested to invite new WICS members to the Frosh Week. There will a “Meet WICS Members Lunch”.
8. Jeopardy was played. The CSSS expressed interest in using our game (complete with WICS-related questions) at their end-of-semester event.
