  Find out about her research in randomized algorithms, sublinear algorithms, sensor networks, and more! How did she get to where she is today? What aspect of Computing Science drew her to the industry? How can you become a success? This is your chance to get your questions answered in a casual setting.

  Description: Last year, 8 SFU students attended the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Technology, the largest technical conference for women in Computing Science in the world. Several got funding from SFU’s CS department and scholarships from Google and the Anita Borg Institutde. Now they’re back and full of great ideas and tips on everything from applying for funding, to flights, to what the most valuable parts of the conference are and most importantly: why YOU should be there!
