Grace Hopper Conference Updates

- Send out emails to students attending the conference to organize the people attending the conference into groups (if they want) for lower hotel costs for students. (Volenteer: Liyang)
- Send out emails to ask for ideas for supporting students (e.g. fundraising) without conference scholarship to attend GHC (Volenteer: Liyang)
Semester End Social Event Planning

Enhancing WICS
Wics execs think that for involving more people in WICS we should add more positions in WICS executives. Ideas for the new WICS position included graduate event coordinator and vice president. The possibility of creating an outstanding service award for a WICS member at the end of semester also discussed in this meeting. No decision is been made yet.
In this meeting, WICS decided to send out emails and ask people about how to improve WICS@SFU and use their ideas. WICS will collect the ideas and decide about adding a position or other methods of enhancing WICS in the next meeting.
Queena volunteered to send out the email, collect ideas and report to the group next time.
