- Review work done since the last meeting
- Diana has confirmed availability for conference
- Sara has updated list of sponsors in Vancouver and the sponsorship package
- Shannon went to counsellors day and material was all handed out
- Ashley updated website and got web logon info
- Updates on TryCatch bank account
- Need new signatures for bank account. Dianela and Youyou
- Discuss details of the event schedule
- Alice workshop
- Plan to do workshop similar to last year Alice 2.2
- CD’s from last year didn’t work, USB key may be better and Carol has info for getting branded
- Can we modify or add to workshop for girls returning from last year? They can try doing a game instead of video or may just get further in tutorial
- Give more time for workshop
- some feedback involved giving more time to play with Alice and less time for lecture
- tell Diana about 2 weeks ahead a ballpark of students in different grades
- Discuss what needs to be done over the winter break

- Go to employers from last year, for their sponsorship letter, add pictures and feedback from this year’s conference
- Go to companies from coop department
- On vacation until January 11th, will start contacting companies mid-January

- by January - make sure that mailing lists are set up and documents for highschools are finished (letter, brochure, poster)
- February - sending out packagesand adding to website
- Registration on the website can start in March and facebook group
- April/May - putting up posters
- Look into advertising in newspapers
- Reaching out to youth groups like student council

- Add checkbox to registration to say if student has attended TryCatch before, grade
- Add exec profiles to website
- Add previous conferences tab with last year’s info

- Goal for number of girls this year will be 60
- Should we split up workshops by grade? This will depend on range of registered students
