1.Role of past and present exec
- It’s required that execs attend meetings
- Execs not only should volunteer but also have passion for the events
- Past execs should help current execs to understand their roles and perform very well in it
2.Feedback from the networking events:
The event was one of the most successful networking events WICS has ever had. We had four guests. Two of our guests were CATWIT exec members. We had more than 30 participants (around 20 female and 10 male).
Suggestions:
(i) we should outline feedback forms, and give them out after each event.
(ii) we would record them and keep in WICS files
Conclusion:8 people voted for YES for having feedback forms. (Approved)

4.CRA-W Networking
-What is CRA-W Grad Cohort?
CRA-W provides the support for women throughout their graduate studies. It also provides mentoring, leadership training, and job haunting skills that will help women succeed in and after their graduate school. It was in Boston this year. They usually invite people randomly to attend their event.
They encourage more people to apply for the CRA-W. WICS will send information on CRA-W to the members.
5.Election Results:
Graduate coordinator: Amy Li
Treasurer: Maryam Siahbani
6.Suggestion for Technical Workshop
-Instead of having Technical Workshop once a semester, it would be better to have it every week/biweekly.
-We could ask people from WICS to be the speaker, because it could be a good opportunity for them to practice their presentation skills.
