1.Joint Networking Event with WEG
Date: sometime after October 25, 2011
Time: 2-3 hours after 6 pm.
Place: TASC1-9204 or Irmacs Theatre?

Details:
- industry guests from both CS/Engineering
- WICS (Ouldooz) will invite CS guests, and WEG would invite Engi guests
- WEG’s speed-dating strategy at the Mix&Mingle sounds good, though 5min/per rotation seems short
- one suggestion is to assign speakers to tables, and the attendees choose which table to visit
To do and discuss with WEG:
- set date, time and place, and budget
- food, and gifts for speakers

Joint application to WWest Grant with WEG
Decision: yes, we’re willing to apply for it.
- Ouldooz to email Queena about writing the proposal to discuss with Eleanor.

Froshweek WICS Luncheon
Date: Wednesday, September 7, 2011
Time: 1:30-2:30pm
Proposed Time: 11:30am-12:30pm
Schedule:
11:30-11:35: powerpoint presentation
11:35-12:00: Bingo game
12:00-12:20: Bingo prizes and lunch
Lunch: large sandwich tray, large meat tray, and small cheese tray from Nester’s (fruit platters if leftover money)
Budget: $200
Luncheon volunteers/presenters: Carmen, Queena, Liyang

- Carmen to ask Matt (CSSS President) about time changes, room booking, source of budget, and number of attendees
- Carmen to edit bingo sheet, and send to Queena/Matt
- Queena to get ppt and last year’s bingo sheet from Youna
