  2. Technical Workshop:
  Date: Thursday, November 17, 2011,
  Place: CSIL 9840 (Linux Lab)
  Presenter: Evgeny Vinnik - also talking about how to make money with apps!
  - 24 people registered so far
  - from now on, forward our event emails to the CS and engineering advisors for more attendees!

  3. WICS||WEG||IEEE Educational Workshop: Business Etiquette
  Date: Friday, November 18, 2011
  Time: 5:30-7:30pm
  Location: SFU Harbour Center
  Speakers: Anja Lanz (WEG Vancouver), Rim N. Slim (MDA), Helen Iosfin (BCHydro)
  - the room can fit ~62 people
  - 55 people registered so far, some are waitlisted
  - Queena to follow up with Eleanor about WWEST funding for this event

  4. Semester-end Social
  Date: Sunday, December 18, 2011
  Activity: Snowshoeing
  - Maryam to research transit, places, prices, then we send out emails to cs-women, and ensc/cs advisors

  5. Grace Hopper Conference Feedback/Discussion
  Date: Tuesday, November 22, 2011
  Time: 2:00pm-3:00pm
  Budget: $60, 6 executives approved
  - should tell the undergrads about it
  - Maryam Sadeghi won MS Research Award, have her as speaker
  - Carmen to book room
  - Amy/Queena to order food

  6. Radio/E-newsletter
  - Ouldooz proposed to do herself, with contributions from WICS members too
  Radio: 1/2 hour every 2 weeks, ~2-3 minutes for upcoming WICS events, 10min for news about CS women, 10min for opportunities available for CS women
  - Oudooz to talk to (Freeda?)
