  Date: March 8, 2012, 11:30 to 13:30 pm

  To-do:
  - Maryam to contact one of the female faculty members to present a short talk in the event (Sasha/Diana)
  - Carmen to send event schedule to Sara Adineh so she can plan the rest (Elaheh will be helping her with planning)
  - Elaheh to send the poster from last year to Zahra
  - Zahra to do the poster
  - Ask Val about game ideas
  - Ask Val for some small gifts from CS

  2. Technical Workshop

  1. Microsoft Network Event
  Date: February 7, 2012, from 4:30 to 6pm
  Place: TASC-9204
  To-do:
  - facebook event, and volunteers to arrange room
  Eleanor - contact Elahe about food
  - thank you gifts
  - get laptop + speakers for DVD
  - prepare to introduce Microsoft speakers at the event
  Carmen - update Microsoft with event details, ask about food reimbursements and how much.
  - ask about how they would like to be introduced
  - parking passes: phone # from Zahra, ask if coming all together?

  Zahra - parking pass from front office, send phone # to Carmen

  2. International Women’s Day

  Date: week of February 27th to March 2nd
  Speaker and topic: Greg Baker on Intro to UNIX
  Maryam - email Greg about which day works best, and poster details
  Zahra - ask other Maryam to design poster
  Carmen - make websurvey RSVP and send advertising email

  4. Yoga!
  - need to ask Ching-Tai if willing to lead this, decide date later

  5. Grad Student Lab Tours for Undergrads

  6. Mentor Lunch…?
  - should we still have this for undergrads based on lack of attendance last semester?

  - Zahra to ask TA friends to advertise WICS in their labs/tutorials, pass out bookmarks
