    Facilities update (Shannon)
    - Booking ASB Atrium in progress
    - waiting on confirmation for parking lot
    - need details about CSIL
    ? To-do: Tiphanie to ask shan/nadya and get back with details of OS/software needed

    Newspaper (Shannon/Carmen)
    - Wrote one article/blurb about Shannon/trycatch
    ? To-do: Carmen to send to newspaper, and wait on feedback before finding more bios

    High school update (Renee)
    - teachers still on strike - no after school activities
    - mailed letters out ? should be arriving sometime this week (probably today)
    - high school visits in 2nd week of april
    - schools in Burnaby, maybe Coquitlam?
    - start setting up things with teachers now
    - set up old facebook page
    - pass sumo’s email to renee to contact for girl guides information
    - put up posters at rec centres
    - To-do: email previous teachers/participants with information about event from try/catch email
    - Contacts for teachers? ? greg might have some
    - To-do: IT teachers list (get from Greg)
    - 2 girls registered

    Sponsorship update (Carmen)
    - $5200 in total
    - poster session ? not sure yet of attendees yet
    - swag: 70 pens and 4 games
    - still need to go to safeway, nesters for food
    - no discount from donair town
    - $1500 from FAS, $1500 from Microsoft, $1000 from SAP, $500 from Simba, $500 from futureshop, $200 from habanero
    - SAP hasn’t replied about speaker/equipment they need for keynote
    - will pick up iPad 3 soonish - in next few weeks (Shannon)
    - pretty much end of big sponsors

    T-shirt update/Button update (Tiphanie)
    - working on t-shirt logo
    - buttons will be same as t-shirt

    Budget:

    • Price: will get pre-ordered iPad 3 from Staples
    • Currently $320 short
    • Discussed ways of reducing expenses (e.g. reduce/remove volunteer prices)

    Website:

    • several pages been updated
    • 2 registrations so far (in late Feb)

    Sponsorships:

    • SAP: form – still missing invoice info; have not heard from Sumo yet regarding accounts info
    • Others? Microsoft, Telus, IGA, Nestors, Safeway, Future Shop

    High School:

    • Put out info student bulletin, ideally 3 weeks prior to event
    • After school visits: TBD after spring break
    • posters/pamphlets been printed out; will start sending out ~1/2 to high schools

    Conference organization:

    • Ice-breaking 11-2pm: Renee has volunteered to run it
    • Poster session: have no volunteers yet; may send call to other depts
    • Surveys: no revisions needed yet; will need approval/consent from Research Ethics

    II.  To-do

    • SAP: will send back form to SAP with what we know
    • Send out email to last years’ registrants
    • Have sent out 2nd call for volunteers
    • will update announcements/posters on website/future emails/etc.
    • Start design for front of T-shirt (back design to be finalized after sponsorship list confirmed); same for pins
